Rock
Cliff Farm is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Puppy, English Toy Spaniel
and French Bulldog, dog hobby show kennel, located in Lineville, Alabama.
Lineville
is situated in the stunning Talledega National Forest, and is 1.5 hours
from
Greater
Atlanta, Georgia and
Birmingham,
Alabama. It is a wonderful vacation destination, with Cheaha
National
Park being the highest point in the state of
Alabama
and it is only 5 minutes from our home.
Owned
and loved by Terri Easterbrooks.
Terri
has bred animals from the time she was a child. Her guinea pigs and
rabbits
won many ribbons at local fairs. She began riding, then breeding show horses
from
6 years of age. Terri has been in agribusiness her entire life. Growing
up on a
dairy
farm, she ultimately worked for Purina Mills agribusiness division and
quickly
became
a rising star by assisting her clients in every way in order for them to
prosper
in
a dying field. In 96, Terri's life was shattered by a devastating
car accident in
which
she almost died. She had to redirect her life, and could no longer breed
her
beloved
sport horses. Not having been blessed with children, Terri ultimately chose
to
hobby breed cavalier king charles spaniels. They are her entire world and
focus.
Her
adventure began in 1999.
She
started the right way, buying her 3 foundation dogs from the very best
kennels, with outstanding heart bloodlines. Terri health tested them for
all known congenital defects. She
finished
4 Champions very early on, and to date has over 8 Champions, with
many
on their way towards their AKC Championship titles.
Terri's
focus is on health, type and temperament. In 2008, Terri imported
some
important
dogs whose sires and dams have been mri cleared for syringomyelia.
She
also fundraises for health on her website, and is a founding partner of
the
Cavalier
health foundation.
Terri
uses the early stimulation technique to ensure all puppies have excellent
coping
skills

will often see Terri's dogs being shown by her handlers Carol and Wally
Rice
in
the south or Cherie Schmitz in Michigan.
She
continues to show under her own affix Rock Cliff Farm, and wishes to thank
all
of her mentors, handlers and other breeders who have shared their
bloodlines
to help make Terri's breeding and show program a success.

I
am proud to announce ALL Rock Cliff dogs, including the Frenchies and the
English
Toys have passed their health clearances for the 2009 year.
We
only have 4 dogs that are retired and in their teens that show any evidence
of mvd.
Terri
is dedicated to the Cavalier Spaniel and their health and longevity.
We
had our 2nd AKC inspection in 3 years on July 28th, 2009. Thank you so
much to
Inspector
William Dely of AKC. He was a delight to work with. We passed
all
paperwork, dna, microchipping, cleanliness, and shelter for our beloved
dogs.
It
is a huge stress to have an inspection. We have passed BOTH times.
We
will continue to be diligent in our breeding program so that anytime an
inspector
gives
us a days notice, we WILL pass.
