Mary is named after
my beloved maternal grandmother who raised me and my 2 sisters. She taught
me the value of everything that is good in life ... was a devout christian
... walked the talk. I am forever in her debt for instilling in me the
belief I could do whatever I wanted to in life and succeed. Her infinite
wisdom, despite being a bookmaker on an assembly line with a 6th grade
education ( had to quit school to work on the family dairy farm ) enabled
me to have success in every field of choice in my life. She is a shining
example of the best, kindest unconditionally loving mother one could wish
for. I miss her everyday. I have been waiting for a puppy like Mary to
be born to name after Gramma. Bella and Jake had a lovely nick breeding,
and she is the only ruby of 5 pups. My grandmother had reddish hair, and
this puppy is a sweet, independent reminder of one I miss so very much.
I look in Mary's jet black eyes and I am reminded of her spirit. Thank you, Gramma.
